Photo A Day

Okay I'm going to give this a go and I hope that I really stick to taking a photo each day.  That is easier said than done for me, I know this sounds terrible, but I always forget to take photo's and not just for photo a day but for everything!  and when I do remember to take photo's it's like an overload of photo's of the same day or thing, it's like I'm making up for all the photo opportunities that I've missed :/

For the month of June I'm going to take part in Fat Mum Slim's Photo a Day.

I'm determined to take part in each days prompts and hopefully this will encourage me to take photo's on a more consistent and regular basis.

These are the prompts.

June photo a day challenge list

You can check out the rest of the info here.

So hopefully at the end of the month I'll have 30 awesome photo's to share :)

Gretel the Horsey

A couple of weeks ago we went out to see my sisters horse, her name is Gretel.  My sister absolutely loves horses and she has wanted a horse for soooo long!  She's only had Gretel for a couple of months and has only been riding for just over a year.

At first Rock Steady was unsure and he didn't want to go near the horsey, but little Bebop was intrigued and she could not stop looking at the horsey!  Seeing as his sister was going near and patting the horsey, Rock Steady soon changed his tune and decided that Aunties horsey wasn't so bad after all.  We convinced him to hop on Gretel and go for a little ride, and he loved it, he wanted to go again and again!

We had a great afternoon with Gretel the horsey, thanks Aunty S :)

Our Weekend

We had a pretty relaxing weekend here, we stayed at home the whole time we did not go anywhere not even to the shops for milk or bread.  It was nice just to be at home to hibernate for the weekend, as it's getting slowly colder and colder down here.  This weekend we just stayed at home and played with the kids, watched movies and baked yummy treats!

Hope everyone had a good weekend too :)

Linking up to IBOT with Essentially Jess today you can join too!

I Recommend ...

I was so excited when this package arrived in the post, I had been waiting for it since I found out I was going to receive it!  It's from a great website called Little Beba.  It provides beautiful gift packs for Mums, bubs and kids.  Great if you know someone who is having a baby, or a little ones birthday, christening or even just to spoil a Mum.
My lovely gift box
Little Beba have it covered all the hard work is done for you, all you have to do is pick out what you want and it's all done, no running around the shops trying to find that perfect gift.  As a Mum to a toddler and baby that is very appealing.

When I opened the parcel I found a beautifully gift wrapped box with a personalised handwritten note on a cute little owl card, I really loved this touch as it gave a really personal and thoughtful quality to it.

And inside was...

All the goodies :)
Some great products were inside the gift box, these were, Wild Nature Pure Organic Aloe Vera Shampoo, Wild Nature Organic Face and Body Cleanser Bar, a cute little Momiji doll for keeping secrets and a pretty little carry bag.

The Wild Nature shampoo is fantastic, my whole family uses it and we are all very happy with it, it cleans your hair well and leaves it feeling soft and smelling nice and fresh.  We also loved the organic face and body cleanser bar which leaves your skin feeling great, no tightness or itchiness after use.  I especially love these products because they are organic and have no sodium lauryl sulphate, silicon, soap or formalin in them and they are also fragrance free, which is great for my daughter and Fiance as they both have very sensitive skin.

I highly recommend the products that I received as they were very high quality and we loved them.  Huge thanks to Angelique and her team at Little Beba for giving us the opportunity to try out their great products.

This is a sponsored post as I received these products to try and keep.  All words and opinions are my own.

Laundry Inspiration

Our laundry doubles as our back entry way and it's not exactly the most inviting place (to go into the house or to do the laundry).  I've been thinking of giving it a little bit of a revamp.  Obviously there are a few bigger projects that need doing, for example ahem! the hot water cylinder in the corner...

So this is my current laundry room/back entry way into our house!

This is what I'd like our laundry side/area to look like and I'd also like to include a nice place to put shoes etc. as this is where most people who come to our home enter!

Well hopefully my new laundry and entry make over isn't too far away!!!!  I have pinned more inspiring pics of laundries over on Pinterest, if you wanna have a look :) you can get there from here.
